Peaflakes- a treat for your guinea pigs

 

These Pea Flakes are my Cheddar's most favorite treats!I decided to find out how to make on my own, and share it with the Blog! After I had made my first batch, I fed it to the him and he loved them! In fact, humans can eat them as well! But, after I tried one, I think That you should stick to feeding them only to your cavy! Hope you and your Piggies enjoy these treats! 

Guinea Pig Pea Flakes 

INGREDIENTS:

Split Peas

Warm Water

INSTRUCTIONS:

Put warm water in a bowl. Add in split peas. Let peas hydrate for 2-3 hours. After the hydrating, put split peas (or one by one for best results) on a folded piece of paper towel. Flatten with cup or rolling pin. When all flattened, put on top of a pan with parchment paper. Set oven at 120 degrees Fahreheit or 50 degrees Celsius, and let bake for 30 minutes. Enjoy!

Things to do when you are bored!

     Hi! In quarantine, I have been Quite bored when I'm not doing work. So I have been doing lots of nice things to pass the time. Here is my list:

🌺 Play with my pet. If you don't have a pet, well, just try to get a small one. Like a mouse or a hamster.

🌺 Organize your things. This isn't that appealing, but having a clean space is always a good thing.

🌺 Paint! Painting is very relaxing. I do enjoy it a lot. And there's no right or wrong, so it is very enjoyable. 

🌺 Plant something or take care of plants. I like growing orchids.

🌺 Do animal research. you also learn something.

🌺 Read. Reading is sorta like watching TV, especially if you have an imagination. My favorite so far has been the really big "Anne of Green Gables." 

🌺 Make a Blog! That's what I did.

🌺 Bake! Research new ideas! The next thing I'm trying are Macarons! 

🌺 Make a list of things to be happy about. It always good to have one of those, right? 

🌺 Write a letter. To someone you know. Having Pen Pals is the best! 

🌺 Take time to learn a new hobby, like crocheting!

First Day of Summer :)

 Hi there, todays the day I'm off on summer!!!  I am traveling a lot. And in my spare time, I can make stopmotions and photograph my Calico Critters. I am writing a long novel that I hope to be done by the end of summer. It's a mix of Little House on the Prarie and Little Women. I'll publish it on here, maybe. :) But I've been working on  a lot of stopmotions, even though they aren't that good. My first one with my Our Generation Doll is ok, I guess, but you can see my fingers on the lenses! 

 

It's okay, but definitely not the best. Compared to all the other Doll Stopmotioners, its terrible. 

But I'll keep trying, that's for sure! I'm really happy with it because it's an accomplishment! My very first doll stopmotion! Maybe one day I'll be a famous stopmotioner. Just kidding! 😂

And now for some Cheddar Pics!!! 

I finally caught a yawn on camera!!! I've been trying to do this forever, and when I saw Cheddar sleeping, grabbed the phone, and put it in front of him! Doesn't he look adorable? Look at how his nose is folded-over! And that little tongue! And his funny little teeth! Can you spy the poop? 😜

I've took the opportunity for pet photography and got Cheddar as my little fluffy model. 😁🐹

I call the second one 'Little House on the Piggy.' The third one is adorable! By the way, no Cheddars

were harmed in the making of these pictures. 

A month ago, we went to Koreshan State Park on our travels. They has the most elegant and beautiful

mansion there! My dream was to walk in the room, try on the clothes, and plop myself down on the bed. But of course they didn't allow that. :( But the rooms were gorgeous!!!! Here's one of my faves: 

Isn't it so very charming?? This has made me want quilted bedsheets now ;) And I'm in love with the framework on the bed! 

This cute little moth was on my windowsill! Isn't it pretty? You can see the vines growing in our backyard :) 

Speaking of my backyard garden, my Mom's coral colored orchid has bloomed! Isn't it so very pretty??? It has made one of my favorite colors coral. 🌺🌺

This is Rosalene, the star of my stopmotions! This is the company pic, I couldn't get a really great picture of her. Isn't her little outfit so adorable??????

Likes: Cheese, guinea pigs, lace, pearls, daisies, raspberries, American Girl Dolls, Calico Critters, Anne of Green Gables, peaches, Plums, blue morpho butterflies, roses, swiss cheese, ice cream, cannolis,  pasta, broccoli, elephants, painting, Italy, Paris, purple crayons, squash, writing, travels, pretzels, pink parasols, 1950's stuff, Little house on the Prairie, piglets, bonnets, tiffany lamps, coral orchids, pink tulip fields, napkins that have flowers on them, buttercups, picnics with gingham blanket, the pool, baby turtle, farm smells, wildflowers, family, tea, and treehouses. 

Dislikes: schoolwork, sushi, peanuts, the color brown, cake, really sweet stuff, plain napkins, rock music, the throwing-up emoji, spiders, sickness, creepy houses, scary movies, over-priced stores, scratchy towels, trip cancellation, salty beaches, normal lamp shades, bugs, blue cheese, blackberries, L.O.L/O.M.G dolls, not having good food, dirty hotels, sound of knifes on plates, and onions.
